2nd Wednesday each month, 3:00-4:30 PM

​​​Committee Function​​

The LGBTQ Campus Climate Committee is a President's Advisory Committee and an Academic Senate Consultation Committee. It is responsible for increasing diversity and student success by creating a campus climate that is welcoming to students, faculty and staff who are part of the LGBTQ community at SRJC. The composition of the committee will be made up of constituent group representatives with a high degree of sensitivity to the LGBTQ Community. The committee will:

  1. Prioritize the recommendations from the LGBT Campus Climate Survey.
  2. Assist the District with implementation of recommendations to improve SRJC's LGBTQ Campus Climate.
  3. Report to the Superintendent/President and the Classified and Academic Senates on a regular basis each semester to update progress and address concerns.
